There are now 41 confirmed cases of Legionnaires with the number of suspected cases stands at 48.

So far, all of those infected have connections to the south-west of the city, where it is currently believed the outbreak has been caused by a cooling tower.

However the exact source has not been identified and investigations continue.

One other man has died from the disease. He was named as 56-year-old Robert Air from the Seafield area of Edinburgh.
