Get Britain Building Fund Will Help Deliver More Homes - FMB |
|
The Government's decision to extend its ‘Get Britain Building’ fund is a welcome boost to help deliver home homes and jobs in the construction industry says the Federation of Master Builders (FMB).
The Government has announced it is inviting bids for additional Get Britain Building funding for building sites in which upwards of 15 homes are being built.
Brian Berry, Chief Executive of the FMB said: "It's very good news that the Government has recognised the value of smaller developments to deliver much needed new homes. Smaller housing developments are often more acceptable to local communities because they are more sympathetic to their local needs. They also have the benefit of providing more local jobs which is good for the local economy."
