We offer a free, no obligation flooring quote where we can bring samples to your home or office at a time that suits you. You can call us from 8am till 6pm, 6 days a week and we can arrange early and late opening times if necessary.
We offer all types of quality flooring for domestic and contract locations. All of our floors are fitted by our own in house tradesmen, all fully qualified and experienced in their own field. We know how important this is and will always make sure the floors are fitted to the highest standards. You can either visit our modern showroom or we offer a home selection service. We always offer a high level of service, expertise and value on all of our products.
Striped stair runners, stair rods & carpet edging
We specialise in the supply and installation of striped stair runners and stair rods. We can even install striped carpet on winders. There are a wide range of plain and striped carpets that are made to order for stair runners. Customers can choose from a wide range of stair rods plus leather and fabric bindings for the edges of stair runners and carpets to create an individual look.
Flooring Samples
Our Premier Flooring Sample Service enables you to select flooring samples to take home. We can lend samples from our shop display, order them for you, or bring them to your home or office for you to match against the decoration, tiles, fabrics etc in the areas requiring flooring. We will then measure the area and give a detailed quotation for materials and labour to install.
This is a free no obligation service, so only one phone call is needed and we do the rest.
History of Russdales
Russdales comes from the names of the two partners Russell Davies and Scott Dunderdale. We have been working together since 1986 sub contracting to various carpet stores and in 1989 we decided we could offer a better service than the larger stores by offering a Home Selection Service working from a small lock up in Enfield and visiting people in their homes with samples (still a big part of our business). In 1996 we moved to a shop in Balham Road, Edmonton, which we outgrew and finally found the perfect location in Green Lanes, Winchmore Hill in 2001. We decided we wanted a modern non-cluttered show room showing all the nicest types of carpets, woods and vinyl designer floors.
With over 6000 customers we feel we know nearly everything about floors, so will give the best advice for your needs. Our fitting service makes all the difference, Scott fits all the Amtico, wood and design floors himself and our carpet fitters are NICF approved so the finishing touch is always perfect. Russell is the main contact in the shop, who will visit you and provide an estimate for your flooring choice. We pride ourselves on our personal service, so please call us and see for yourself.
Floor Fitting & Installation
At Russdales we only have the finest Floor Layers and pride ourselves on the quality of their fitting. All have Public Liability Insurance and a minimum of 10 years experience in their chosen field, some for as long as 40 years. They will arrive at your home in sign written vehicles, smartly dressed in polo shirts with our logo on, so you know you are dealing with the right people. After they have introduced themselves they will do the following:
- Inspect area where new flooring is to go.
- Advise if there are potential problems that need to be rectified ie. Loose floor boards, doors needing to be trimmed etc.
- They will prepare the floor and install new floor covering
- They will take all rubbish / waste from the job
- After you make your final inspection they will ask for payment of the balance, which should be paid to him and he will sign your invoice to say that the balance has been paid.
