We are the region's specialist in Architectural Salvage, Natural Stone Fireplaces and 16th & 17th Century reproduction furniture and Replica Flagstones.

If it is a Natural Stone Fireplace you are seeking, look no further, as our resident Stone Masons will hand carve a Fireplace to fit your specific requirements.



Distinctive 16th or 17th century reproduction Oak Furniture, Tapestries and Pewter are all available. Replica Flagstones are manufactured in Blue Lias, Purbeck, Hamstone or Portland. Also Stone Roof Tiles in various sizes and Pool Surrounds.

We also stock more unusual items of Architectural Salvage such as Stone Staircases, Balustrades, Door Surrounds, Mullioned Windows and much, much more. Also stocked are the more general items such as Reclaimed Bricks Stone, Oak and Elm Beams, Doors, Flagstones, Floorboards and Cast Iron Guttering.

  • Fireplaces
    At Castle Reclamation we will create your Natural Stone Fireplace from one of our traditional designs or if you choose we can create a more unique design for your specific taste.
    Each Fireplace is created from scratch, selecting the raw block of stone from the local Ham Hill quarry and cutting it to the exact dimensions you require, adjusting the overall height, width and depth to suit your home.
    It is then passed to the mason's shop where it will be traditionally hand carved to your own unique design.
    A fitting service is also available where the Stone Mason that carved your Fireplace will also install it.

  • Furniture
    For the past 18 years Brian Purnell has worked for a leading company specialising in 16th & 17th Century Furniture and Interiors. He is now working in the idyllic surroundings of Castle Reclamation.

  • Kitchens
    Castle Kitchens can supply a range of free standing painted or hardwood kitchen furniture.

    Hand made in our workshops. We are able to offer a unique and ageless appearance, individual to you.

  • Oak Floors
    Our oak floor boards have been carefully selected to have an interesting grain with knots and character, giving life and warmth to any room.

  • Flagstones
    Castle Flagstones are the largest on the market at the moment with sizes up to
    48'' x 30'' and totally exclusive to ourselves

  • Stock
    At Castle Reclamation we have a vast selection of architectural salvage and at our yard a garden area has been set, so you can view all these pieces in their full glory.
