All aspects of formwork and steel fixing (FIXFORM) Steel Fixing We are carry out Labour only steel fixing of Ground beams etc. Or if required we can offer a supply and fix service. Prefabrication service, ground beams can be prefabricated labelled as to their position and all loose splice bars loaded.This is our basic fixing service. Full steel fixing service as to ground beams, pile caps, slabs, retaining walls, columns, pile cages, walls etc. Formwork - Shuttering We carry a wide range of ready-to-use shuttering panels. In the picture you can see the use of our own timber made panels in the construction of an under-house basement garage. Formwork - Ground beams We construct and install our ground beam panels - which are re-usable. These offer the following benefits: Cost effective, with reuse and reflection. Create a safe working environment. True plumbed sides which promote no wastage of concrete and ground heave, depth and width dimension. Withstands “land slip and cave ins” caused by adverse weather. And has the added bonus of saving time on site. Void former If required we can install a reusable Deck / soffit which leaves a required clear void. Our system eliminates the need for an expensive void former - such as polystyrene. The sides are shuttered, back filling eliminates the need for polystyrene, on internal and external beam faces, and no polythene is required. Other savings are that the sides are true and there is no concrete wastage, dimensions true to the drawings provided - the clear void formed. Engineers say a clear void of 120mm is as effective as a polystyrene void former at 250mm, so less excavation is required.
