In step with infrared...
The use of infrared thermography is fast becoming a standard survey method for maritime and industrial companies reliant on professional third party survey companies to undertake annual inspections in order to comply with preventative maintenance requirements and the law. The technique is non-invasive, designed to pinpoint the exact location of system deficiencies using heat responsive thermal imaging equipment.

Since this cutting edge method of inspection is non-contact it can be carried out when a system is live, meaning no downtime costs. It also means that when faults are found corrective maintenance strategies can be planned and implemented before system failure occurs.

By evaluating the condition of buildings, electrical, mechanical and process equipment we can produce cost effective reports to dramatically improve upon your up-time, energy usage and safety management. Think thermally and get in step with infrared. Geo Therm Ltd - your leading infrared thermal imaging surveyors.

Marine
Our Marine thermal imaging surveyors follow the professional code of conduct as set by the International Institute of Marine Surveying and are undertaken by qualified ASNT thermographers to condition monitoring and perform pre-voyage sea trail thermal imaging surveys in compliance with recommendations stated in the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Electrical Equipment and Installations Part 7.37.1.2, the International Association of Classification Society (IACS) Maintenance & Inspection of Electrical Equipment on the Ship #57.5 and #35 and the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) (SOLAS, Ch.II-2, reg.15.2.10) for fire protection in the luxury super yacht market and commercial shipping industries worldwide.

We aim to report on the vessel condition accessible to us at the time of the survey reporting on the condition of your super yacht or super tankers' critical systems to identify problems that can adversely affect your voyage, in short, our thermal infra-red surveys dramatically improve your risk management.

Offshore
As Associate members to the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) we aspire to meet the goals set by the IADC, to serve the offshore drilling and production industries using qualified ASNT thermographers to improve upon client predictive and preventative maintenance regimes by detecting temperature anomalies symptomatic with failing equipment - in order to improve upon assert safety and save tens of thousands of dollars in rig and installation downtime by the early detection and prevention of electrical and mechanical incidents. The United Kingdom Thermography Association (UKTA) document Code of Practice outlines survey safety for electrical incidents. Our offshore thermographic surveys are best undertaken while equipment is operational at a minimum of 40% load.
Our exception based interim reports provide a rapid turnaround of information after each survey completion, a further two finalised reports are sent to your company headquarters within five working days on return to our UK office. When equipment starts to fail - think thermally, and get 'in step with infrared' Geo Therm Ltd. - your offshore service provider of choice.

Buildings
Using the latest infrared camera technology thermal infrared building inspections can provide evidence of new builds, including self-builder homes, new and existing commercial and industrial buildings performs to the specifications of the architect and has a continuity of thermal insulation over the whole visible envelope, The United Kingdom Thermography Association (UKTA) Code of Practice Building Thermography and Thermal Insulation Continuity details will help in determining your thermographic surveyor.

Built & Natural Environment
Environmental thermal infrared surveys provide a means at detecting offending environmental polluters to the studying natural phenomena while helping to improve our decision and managing making processes to events that may have otherwise gone unnoticed, in essence infra-red environmental surveys make for a safer and healthier environment for all to enjoy.

See the environment in another 'light' and get 'instep with infrared'!
